+
+Verify FreeBSD accepts the structured eight-byte PAD!ERO! patch after the final
+directory-name NUL and still returns complete names and restartable cookies.
+
+## Procedure
+
+Record metadata/fixture-evidence.txt and the
+metadata/namei-padding-nonzero.erofs hash. On a fresh mount:
+
